- The registration of the BTT2012 tournament is finished. We collected 16 teams in total. For the full list of all teams, please visit this link:

- The BTT bot has been setup. This bot will be used to host all tournament games.
All team leaders/contacts persons are set as the bot admin, so each team can freely access the bot to test the connection and train their teams.
- In the coming weekend (Feb. 11th/12th), as we don't need to do the qualification games, the time will be given to all teams to do the team training freely. The formal games will be started in the next weekend (Feb. 18th/19th)
- Let's meet at 19:00 (7pm at EU +1 timezone) on Sunday (12th) to have some serious training games with another registered team. It is not mandatory, but would be a good chance to test your team and get the feeling of the tournament. We will host games randomly for the teams who come at this time.
- Below I attached a copy of the letter that I sent to all 16 registered teams, which contain some other important notices and the tournament planning etc.

1. Team registration result and ELO
As you may already noticed, the final registration results and the ELOs of the 16 teams are listed in this post:

Please ask your team members to double check the team registration results and the calculation of the ELOs.
It is very important to make sure everything is correct, e.g. the team name, players name, the ELOs of each player and the average ELO of the team.
I could make mistakes when copy/paste the team info and when manually calculate the ELOs.
And please do this check before the coming Saturday evening (Feb. 11th).
We cannot wait for too long because the team seeding cannot start unless all team ELOs are confirmed correct.
If there is something wrong, please let me know.
If there is no feedback utill Saturday evening, we assume you agree with the team registration result and the ELOs.
2. BTT Bot
The BTT bot has been setup for visiting.
This bot will be used to host all tournament games.
All registered team leaders and contact persons are added as the admin of the bot.
So you can choose a time freely with your team to test the bot.
You can also play traning games on this bot if you meet other teams.

If there is anything wrong with the bot, please also let me know asap.
You can freely access the bot until Feb. 17th.
After that only the tournament referees will be able to use the bot.
This is because the formal games will be started at Feb. 18th/19th.
3. Tournament Planning
The 1st weekend (11th/12th) was scheduled to do qualification games.
But because we got exactly 16 teams, there is no such need.
In the coming weeked, we won't arrange any formal tournament game.
The weekend time is given to all teams, that they can freely train their teams and test the BTT bot.
Until Saturday (11th) evening, please double check your team registration information and ELOs.
On Sunday (12th) morning, we will do team seeding. So the teams in the 4 groups will be decided.
The game time will be scheduled and informed to each team no later than Monday evening (13th).
The formal games start at the next weekend (Feb. 18th/19th).
All 16 teams will have 1 formal game at that weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday.
Until Feb. 17th, all teams can freely access the btt bot to test the bot/train teams.
4. Meet for Training Games
Although all teams can freely choose time to train their teams on the btt bot,
it would be interesting to make training games with other registered teams.
So let's fix a time at 7pm (19:00, EU +1 time zone) on Sunday,
to all meet together and play some serious training games.
It is not mandatory, but it would be a good chance to test your team and get the feeling of the tournament.
The time is 19:00 at EU +1 time zone, 20:00 at EU +2, 21:00 at EU +3, 12:00 at US -6, and 10:00 at US -8.
