switch or option to disable KICK command

this is some what related to the other topics floating around about people abusing the KICK command.

can you add an option to disable that?

specially a HCL command for bots, or at least something for the RED player.

I agree with you.
People abuse this command without a good reason realy often -.-
For example:

I was in a game with 3 other good players.
Everything was fine and none of us feeded.

The enemy was trying to conquer one of our CPs and my handy starts to ringing because my girlfriend called me.
I missed the CP overtake in the one minute I was talking to my girlfriend and the enemy conquered it.
My team started the kick command to kick me because of this but hey! I got a RL! -.-

I know it was a bad situation but my gf was more important in this minute (and it was realy a minute only)
My whole team voted for yes to kick me and I was getting kicked ...
That is only one example of thousend of them...

Most times, people start kicking to gain leavergold because they suck.

I would realy love a command for red to disable kick abusing.

Do someone of you played Battleships Crossfire and used the kick command?
The team wont get leavergold for kicking. I like this way too cause there are way lesser kicks than in Btanks.

Hm... On the other side of things sometimes people genuinely do leave the keyboard and don't come back. Sometimes a player purposely decides to grief his team and bomb his base. And on rare occasions, a couple friends pull off shenanigans and decide to have one player feed the other... Instead of having an option to eliminated kick completely, perhaps there can be a "Conditional" Kick Option. The team is only allowed to kick a player if:

-A players destroys his own team's building.
-A player goes "afk."
-A player has a X Kill:Death per Time deficit.

I dont agree with the first cause it's could be to late for kicking cause the team could already lost some buildings through that player.
The 2nd and 3rd sound good.

lol, yeah, i nearly always get X:0 stats with trader on public games, where X is greater than 10. ^.^

atm we're nearly done with the concept of a remake for the kicking system, which had been told on other topic as well. now we're including some facts of the player, which may or may not increase the chance in general to be kicked. just to not make false hope, i won't go too much into detail at this point.

Even tho a player already has destroyed his own team's buildings, then it's still a good idea to get him kicked to prevent more buildings to be destroyed.

If a player should be able to be votekicked for being afk, then the player shall at least be afk for 5 minutes or something.

I like that. Since the trader is easy to kill in some situations, I think that it would be more fair if it could die more often than tanks.

Well if they were doing their job their team wouldn't be kicking them now will they :lol:?




But seriously... That's a problem, perhaps a function of X (Bounty Recieved + Trade Profit) : Bounty Given would be better, especially for exploders and traders.
