Instead of increasing power of treants. Why not adding other creep?
The Guard would be able to create others units by this skill like some air.


When this tank is rooted, i suggest that we make it able to teleport (75gold) to cp. So the rooted guard should be able to defend/telep to cp when he is rooted.
It would gives another signification to his name. This tank should be able to defend cp wherever it is :p
I am so good that I don't even need to type -rc because I never die !

Possible scenario:
Guard buys a TP,
everybody sits on cp,
Guard tp to enemy cp when most enemy are away,
everybody cptp to enemy cp...

But i mean that the guard can telep to cp (of his force) anywhere anytime. Not that the guard has same capacity than cp ^_^

So can't you inplant this in next version and just see what ppl think about it and if they dont want it the next version remove it ... something like 8.67 and 8.67b

Ok what do you think of making somehing like wisp going around the guad when rooted and each wisp attack any non building enemy in 1300 range from the guard

1lvl 1 wisp
2lvl 2 wisps
3lvl 3 wisps
4lvl 4 wisps
5lvl 5 wisps

each wisp has attack time 1 sec and dmg 1000 and melee attack
so what do you think?Smile

Im strongly against this. We do not need more powerful defending strategies in BT.

However, while this tank could defenitely use a rework, its not that urgent in my opinion. If this tank is gonna be changed majorly, i dont expect it beeing done next 2 versions, and we are not talking about a small balance issue when replacing skills or changing CP-tp behaviour.

or it could be creep cannon like scouts or hero cannon like hunters but with more dmp

it's only a life regen aura. i often play guard and i never seen that mana regens faster near him

hi all.
a treant increase seems nice to me. but it should be not added in the 1st skill.
rather in the 3rd skill
2.lvl +1
4.lvl +2
5.lvl +3
so a total of 5 trents at lvl 5.

if ur team plays with upgrades the trents dont need any further improvement.
the 2 treant spawn can become quite strong with bonus from troop comand.

If there is no increase in the number of the treant the base hp should be reworked.

The Guard is one of my favorites too, but it realy needs to be reworked.

I like the idea of changing tank cannon or improving the passiv regeneration skill.
A few more treants would be nice, but 5 are too much. They already do good damage but the HP could be improved.

5 treants each x seconds is too much, but 2 not enough...

The idea to change tank cannon to scout cannon would be nice too, cause the tank cannon now has realy less range.

We should not forget that the Guard supports, that's why i think the cannon like the one of the hunter wouldn't be good.

5 treants are 2 much ?^^
ghost tank got 5 ghost on lvl 5 and the tank can still move while spawning.
i think 5 is a nice defensive mesure for guard. and a well placed aoe ultimate will kill them off. dosnt matter if they are 5 or 2.

and because he supports, the range of the tank cannon is too less. he is not in the fight, more at the edge and if he is rooted he cant move.
what i want to say is:
the guard have to be rooted to be eefective, thats good!
but if you are roooted, and you are too close to the battle you die easily, because you cant moce.
and when you are rooted right in the right range its too far away to use the tank cannon.

conclusion: often the tank cannon is useless and it would be nice, if it would be replaced with something else

also the active healing spell could replace the tank cannon and the treants upgrades the active healing


Edit:
i think 5 are too much, too, because treants looks really strenght and heavy and are qualitve, but the ghosts of the ghost tank are more quantitive creepsBig Grin
