I think a no bounty mode should be available where the gold per sec is much higher and possibly increases over time to keep up with weapon costs. The point of this is too keep ppl from losing out due to a few lucky energy torpedoes or like. Experience would still be earned as usual so that would still give you a slight advantage for killing you opponent more often. Maybe I have just been playing and losing too many 5k High Bounty games lately, but I think there is something inherently flawed in the bounty system. I think the game play would remain the same b/c you still need to kill you opponent to be able to capture check points and destroy bases. Although the trader might be a problem to balance. I guess the game would need a complete overhaul to make this work, but I wouldn't mind test playing it to see how it works without major changes.
