Well if by gameplay analysis, you mean a more accurate summary of who played better, then runes alone would not be enough. There are many more statistics that can help in this, but staying on runes:
total amount of hp healed
HP healed per rune - this will be the most important stat, it shows how effectively you used runes, whether you used when needed or wasted the rune.
or % hp healed per rune - maybe harder to do but better than the above.
How about new award: Healer
Admittedly, this wouldnt work well because there isnt a need for more than one or two healers, which means up to around 4 healers in a game, for the award to go to. But it would be very nice as a reward for good healers, to encourage teamwork. EDIT: troop spawner is pretty useless, it usually favours particular people who have no 'competition' since spawning factories are the ONLY mass troop maker; troop command is obviously too slow to compete)
Healers: guard, scout, medivan, titan, repair droids, tinker, umm
Scout is a really awesome healer most effective in late game, but sadly, the tank doesnt scale well that far. 25% heal runes? beats medivan by a few trillion percent. Also, heal runes have 2500 range of something, extremely useful for quickly healing allies while staying out of trouble. Medivan heal range? 900 + range of heal skill or 900 for ult.
