i stopped working on the flight sim, too ^^
it wasnt meant as a game from the beginning, and the basics are working, so i lost my interest in it
instead i was testing some things for supcom: a building which can provide platforms in the ocean, where other buildings can be built on and where you can place units... swimming outposts, only needs some more time, but the basics seem to work
so once this is finished, or even earlier, i will take a look into battle tanks again, probably. i already talked with exodus and played some bt games in the past days, so its not totally unlikely that i will work on it
and about using the advanced projectile system:
first, i think it could make the game lagg, because there actually are a lot of creeps in the game permanently fighting, most likely they would have to be reduced. i would also like that projectiles in a bt map, however, it would be lots of work and cause heavy balancing issues, so i tend to improve the old battle tanks instead. another reason is, that i doubt that players will like it, because its performance costly
however, if there are a lot of people here liking the idea, then i will definetaly think about it

by the way, in general i would like to see a map with that projectile system being popular, balanced, and more warcraftish than my supcom map, because most people arent interested in supcom, but the engine could be used for anything.
