tanks speed and weapons range

Hi,
I dont know if the question has been answered yet. I didnot find topics in the forum which explain it.
My question is what is the link between speed and range?
what time does it takes for a tank with 300 speed to cover 1000 range?

if I have weapons with higher range than my ennemy:
i got 950 range he got 750 range
and he got higher speed than me :
i got 320 speed he got 380
If I am at just 950 range and he runs for me, I want to know the time i got before his weapons will fire? when does he reach the 750 range from me?
simple case we are both dumb and we go in straight lines, no turning left or right.

Unit speed tells you how much distance you are able to cover in one second. So a speed of 300 means, you travel 300 units in one second.
