Below are the ELOs of each registered player.

Notes:
1. The ELOs are taken from http://league.btanks.net/
2. We use ELOs, not points.
3. Only the ELO from the exact account name that you registered for the tournament is taken. For example, there are "wupti" and "wupti.". Even though they might be the same person, we consider only "wupti" because this is the name registered for the tournament.
4. For some people who play on multiple realms like LIoOoOoIL, the highest ELO of all 4 realms is taken.
5. For some people who don't play league, so no record in the database, we use default ELO 1500.
6. The ELO is taken at the time February 2nd, 0:00. All games finished after this time is not considered. The ELOs below are your ELOs at Feb. 2nd 0:00.
7. For players joined last tournament BTT2010 and ended up in top 8 teams, there will be a bonus added into their ELOs. Please check BTT rules 6.5 and 6.6.

Everyone please double check your ELO listed below, because it is quite possible that I made mistakes when searching and calculating them from the database. I did it manually.

As no one complaints about the ELO until this evening, we will use the ELOs to do team seeding. The team seeding is showed below:

Step 1: Strong teams 1-4 are assigned to group A-D respectively.

Step 2: Strong teams 5-8 are assigned randomly to 4 groups, 1 per group.
This is how do we do the "random". Firstly the CRC code of the team name is calculated.
Then the teams are sorted based on the CRC codes in the ascending order.
This is the same "random" method as we did in the last tournament btt2010.

No i don't think i said that. We will only use the ELO from the exact account that you registered for the tournament.

There are 2 reasons.

(1) Technically you cannot know for sure that the 2 accounts prog and Btanksiseasy are indeed the same person. There is no way to prove it. So if someone else also claim that Btanksiseasy is his/her account, e.g. just to disturb the tournament, it will take too long time to verify it.

(2) No one can remember all accounts from 1 player. For example for long time i don't even know Btanksiseasy = prog, i thought it was someone else. So, to find out all accounts for each registered player, and get the highest ELO for them would take too long time and thus no possible to operate.

maybe everyone who is interested in having his/her highest elo counter for btt should up here a SS of using this account saying it's his/her acocunt.
For example i upload screenshot when i play wheresthelove account and just type: progg. This should be very easy to do for each player and very easy to verify for you guys.

@progg: you should take a look at the effect this would have.

When considering Progs highest ELO and with my real one, the ELO of the DevTeam becomes 1603. Which would mean, we would only move up one rank in the teams list. We would still be in the second "strong teams" group. And now take a look at the rules again:

6.8. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th strong teams are assigned to group A, B, C, D respectively. The other 4 strong teams are assigned randomly into 4 groups, 1 per group. The 8 normal teams are assigned randomly into 4 groups, 2 per group.

Accordingly, there is no big imbalance there. In fact, it would change absolutely nothing ;)
