I always wonder who collects the damn healing runes when u need one.
I suggest a Runemaster score for end game stats for most runes collecter..

Runemaster award sounds a bit silly to me. I would like a Multikiller award, but with 1 trader ingame, you will probable lose the first award on top if there was more awards added into the game.

Well theres always room for improvement, not necessarily in adding more awards. Some can be removed and changed, along with how they work. The number of runes picked up could be interesting to see, perhaps displayed in -stats rather than having its own award (seems like a rather simple stat to track and probably wont increase lag).
As for awards themselves, I see them only as a fun feature because they rarely show who really did best or used a lot of skill in playing. But i do believe they should be improved to reflect it better.

yes but if you have not know the most written letters is a prestigious award :p no i like the idea i think its intresting btw i have a habit of taking healers on full health and mana :p

Hr mm bah i think its a interesting award and i only really take healers on full mana and health to annoy my team mates on purpose and after game they always mention it

It is what we call "bennieplay", it is like kill stealing on purpos; it increase fun and cohesion of the team. When i see a teamate run to a rune, i try to get the rune first!!! (and particulary if it is Bennie!)

Well if by gameplay analysis, you mean a more accurate summary of who played better, then runes alone would not be enough. There are many more statistics that can help in this, but staying on runes:
total amount of hp healed
HP healed per rune - this will be the most important stat, it shows how effectively you used runes, whether you used when needed or wasted the rune.
or % hp healed per rune - maybe harder to do but better than the above.
How about new award: Healer
Admittedly, this wouldnt work well because there isnt a need for more than one or two healers, which means up to around 4 healers in a game, for the award to go to. But it would be very nice as a reward for good healers, to encourage teamwork. EDIT: troop spawner is pretty useless, it usually favours particular people who have no 'competition' since spawning factories are the ONLY mass troop maker; troop command is obviously too slow to compete)
Healers: guard, scout, medivan, titan, repair droids, tinker, umm
Scout is a really awesome healer most effective in late game, but sadly, the tank doesnt scale well that far. 25% heal runes? beats medivan by a few trillion percent. Also, heal runes have 2500 range of something, extremely useful for quickly healing allies while staying out of trouble. Medivan heal range? 900 + range of heal skill or 900 for ult.

well, the endgame scores are mostly a fun thing. you can see killer/survivor by having a look at the multiboard, troops spawned, engineer, upgrades researched and trade profit have no real competition in most of the games, too. chat award is completely fun, and so on...
if you want some more serious game statistic, you should use the -stats command at certain stages of the game, like 10/20/30 minutes in.
nonetheless, i'd like to have a healer rune award in the end, too.

Yea maybe Ninja's idea is better: total % healed with rune.
