qweqqweq Wrote:so you're saying that hit points multiplyer = 100/(100-x) where x = damage reduction? where'd u get that formula from? That's really weird and counter-intuitive, can you please explain how that works for those of us who are retarded?
Imagine total amount of hp= 100
Enemy does 10 damage per hit.
He needs 10 hit to kill the tank.
If the tank has x% reduction, each hit does (1-x%)* 10 damage.
If x= 0, then the tank must do y *(1-0%)* 10 damage to kill. (y= 10, number of hit)
If x= 20% then, the tank must do z* (1-0.2) * 10 damage.
What is z?
100 = 10*0,8 *z
z = 100/80 = 12.5 hit. (since each hit= 10 damage, a total of 125)
So it is the same as if the earth has 125 hp instead of 100.
if reduction= 80%
100= 10* (1-0,8) * c
c= 50, total of 500 hp.
I am so good that I don't even need to type -rc because I never die !
