This starter tank is perfect to focus on farming/creeping in the early game, since he has a ‘Creep Cannon’ with good dps. The Scout also doesn’t have a single skill, which is able to damage enemy tanks directly. It is favourable playing the Scout with high ranged weapons around 999+ and to keep exactly this distance, while you try to stay out of the range of your opponents.

The Scout can also act as a supporter with his ‘Rune Carving’, until he changes to a higher tier tank. (Note: in the course of farming, always take care that your teammates don’t get in too much trouble and be flexible to change the tank when necessary)


Watch Tower [ Q ]

Active – Point Target
Builds a Watch Tower, which is able to see invisible units and mines in an area of 750. The Watch Towers can only attack creeps, last 35 seconds and take 4 seconds to build.

Rune Carving [ W ]

Active – Unit Target (Items)
Manipulates Healer-runes, so that they heal allies by 25% of their maximum HP and Mana or damage enemies by 25% of their current HP. With level 3 you get the ability to create new already manipulated runes.

  • By manipulating an already manipulated rune, you change the team, that gets healed, instead of damaged and both teams will see the manipulation effect


Defensive Systems [ E ]

Active – Instant (Self)
Provides a resistance against tank weapons and spell damage as well as a HP regeneration for 12 seconds.

Creep Cannon [ T ]

Passive – Unit Target (Enemy, Non-Building, Non-Hero)
Primary tank weapon.

Notes:

  • Like any other weapon in the game, this skill is based on phoenix fire
  • If it would be sold as a regular weapon, it would be worth 4050 gold on level 5


Ensnare [ R ]

Active – Unit Target (Enemy, Hero), Ultimate
Ensnares an enemy tank, air units will be dragged down to the ground and treated as ground units.

5 80 50 sec. 1000 - Ensnares enemy tanks for 4.8 sec.

Notes:

  • Weapons that can only be used by air tanks, will be disabled for the duration of this skill
  • When the target air unit flies over impassable terrain, it will be dragged towards the caster
